Thank you for making our Research, Rights, Resilience Panel a Success
On May 20, Research Associates gathered at the MaRS campus to discuss collective issues including funding precarity and advancement.
Speakers from CAUT (Canadian Association of University Teachers), CUPE, and AAUP (American Association of University Professors) shared how collective organizing has been able to make tangible gains in working conditions in the University sector despite the endemic insecurity.
Research associates then continued to discuss how unionization could help address their collective issues.
Headshots were taken, food was eaten, and meaningful conversations were had!
